Here Are Ways to Nourish Your Soul:

  • Be a Giver

Give from your heart. What are you passionate about? I there an organization that is near a dear to you or your family? Do you know someone in need that could use an extra hand?Whether it’s a few dollars or some of your time, you will feel a true sense of satisfaction when you give back to a cause that’s dear to you.

Do not give to receive something in return. Believe me, you will receive more than you could ever expect in return! The power is in the giving.

As my father always says, “ Every time I give with my right hand, I receive way more in my left.”

  • Take time for yourself. Enjoy some “alone time.”
    We all need a little down time. Whether you spend it meditating, doing yoga or just relaxing in a quiet place in your home or a near by park, find time for you. You are worth it. We all need to decompress and release daily stress.
  • Daily Devotion and Gratitudes
  • One of my favorite ways to start the day is with daily gratitudes. I keep a daily gratitude journal and I write 10 things I am grateful for every morning. 
  • Cuddle up with a book.
    Every summer, I look forward to finding a good book for the beach. However, its really important that we continue to grow spiritually and personally. There are so many wonderful books out there!
  • Write….bring our you inner author
    Keep a daily journal
  • Dance like no one is watching! Music is medicine to the soul. Blast it and enjoy it!
  • Find time to workout out at least 4 to 5 times per week. Your body will thank you for it.
  • Find a hobby and bring out your inner creativity! Yes, you too are creative. 
  • One way to continue to nourish your soul is to Eat healthy!  FFueling your body with healthy foods will feed the soul!
