Ways to Create a Healthy Body

There are many opinions on what a healthy body looks like, but an opinion that will never change is that healthy body starts from within. A healthy mind leads to a healthy body, and practicing both of those will lead you to live a healthy life. A healthy body is one that is more energized, positive, and fulfilling. It starts with what you fuel it with, and it is important that you are fueling your body correctly. 

Eat a Well Balanced Diet. 

When it comes to eating, practice healthy eating habits. You have a choice of what you choose to put in your body, so choose food that will nourish your body. Its important to choose high quality lean protein, complex carbohydrates, and organic fruits and vegetables. Chose whole grains. Limit your intake of processed and “junk” foods.

Stay Hydrated

Your body need water! Make sure you are drinking at least half your body weight in ounces of water everyday. My goal is to drink 1 gallon of water each day. I like to fill up a one gallon jug it in the morning and then I pour from it into a smaller water bottle throughout the day. It is a great visual for me to I see how much I have already drank and see if I need to kick things up a notch!

Exercise Regularly

It's really important to incorporate exercise or physical activities into your routine. Plan on working out at least three time per week. Incorporate a few days of cardio and a couple days of strength training. Whether you choose to go to a gym or you chose to do an outdoor activity, get your body moving everyday! Go for a walk, run or hike. Play a game of tennis, or go for a bike ride. 

Take Your Vitamins

Get Enough Sleep

Getting an adequate amount of sleep at night is crucial.
